Welcome to the Southbow Landing Project page!

This Neighbourhood Plan (NP) was originally approved in 2015, and includes ±220.75 hectares (±545.5 acres) of land. Southbow Landing is a master planned, complete community within the River Heights Area Structure Plan. The NP establishes Land Use Districts and guides future subdivision and development proposals on a phased basis within the plan area.

Current applications include:

A. Residential Multi-Family Land Use Amendment for lands south of the Willows

• Application SNS2024-014

• Proposing medium density (townhomes) with a pathway buffer between existing homes and new development to the south.

• Committee of the Whole: April 22, 2025 at the Ranchehouse.

B. Stage 2 - Neighbourhood Plan Amendment for lands within the eastern portion of the Plan Area

• Application SNS2025-002 and SNS2025-003

• Proposing new residential phases, enhanced regional connectivity, and a new park with Bow River access.

• Open House: April 12, 2025 at the SLS Centre.
